(i was trying tiptap right only)

Personally, when using those triggers. I get a more consistent result if I ensure that the 2 Fixed Fingers are toughing more of trackpad than just the "tip" of them, and only using the tip of the "tap" finger (ring/right, index/left.) Basically placing my index and middle finger down, as though I were using the TouchID on the MacBook.

When trying to use the tip of all three fingers, I noticed that my pressure on the finger opposite of the one I was tapping, would lessen resulting in the miss fire of the trigger or a right tap instead of left.

Also you can adjust the pressure needed for Taps & TipTaps in the setting, to better work with your hand.
