2 Finger scrolling is not being deactivated by settings

Describe the bug
2 Finger scrolling is occurring vertically and horizontally when using 2 Finger Up/Down/Left/Right swipes.
This check in the settings is not making a difference.

This is also happening on Magic Trackpad 2 when using two finger scroll up down with modifiers
