I installed the new version, but this issue still persists
macos system trackpad gestures settings:
Macbook Pro M3 Pro
OS 15.1 (24B83)
BTT: 4.883
This issue still exists.
2 Finger Click does not work.( Click set to firm in system setting)
But i found if i hold two fingers on the trackpad for 2 seconds and then 2 finger click, sometimes it may work.
Finally, I turn off the Secondary click, and set up a 2 finger tap action to triger mouse right click in btt.
Then 2 finger click will work.
that's normal, if you want to use two finger click in BTT you need to disable the system two finger click.
But on my another macbook pro(old model,13-inch, 2020 with touchbar).
The "secondary click" in ON, but 2 finger click works well in btt.
How does it work then? Will it trigger a system right-click in addition to BTT's action? What would be the advantage of leaving it on?
I have also been using 2 finger click gesture with "Secondary click" set to "Click or tap with two fingers" for many years. Only after upgrading to macOS 15 I started experiencing the issue that both system right-click and BTT action are triggered.
Even if it worked before, it was always recommended to disable the system right-click when overriding it with BTT - the same goes for all gestures that you override with BTT. (Apart from pinch and rotate, these are special and actually need to be enabled)
